Manisa Şehzadeler Fairy Tale Park: Turnkey Master Planning & Sculpture
Executed between 2016 and 2017, MiniatureArt undertook the comprehensive turnkey responsibility for the design, master planning, landscape architecture, and construction of the landmark “Şehzadeler” fairytale Theme Park in Manisa. Spanning a dedicated 7,000 m² fairy tale zone, this project brings together 180 masterfully sculpted characters from 32 beloved fairy tales and animated worlds, set within an intuitively planned landscape environment.
Complete Landscape Architecture & Pedestrian Circulation
Holistic In-House Master Planning: Beyond sculpture manufacturing, our team engineered the entire spatial layout from scratch. We drafted the master landscape plan and designed the comprehensive pedestrian circulation network.
Intuitive Pathway Grids: The walkway layout was strategically configured to eliminate bottlenecks, ensuring seamless crowd flow for thousands of daily visitors, school groups, and families moving between exhibits.
Thematic Landscape Integration: Green zones, resting spaces, and natural barriers were tailored around each story cluster, creating distinct visual pockets that isolate each fairy tale universe into its own charming setting.
180 Iconic Characters Across 32 Fairy Tales
Extensive Character Diversity: The 7,000 m² theme zone features 180 individual characters representing 32 world-famous fairy tales and animated classics, making it one of the richest thematic figurative collections in the region.
Immersive Story Clusters: Characters are arranged in interactive narrative clusters rather than isolated plinths, encouraging visitors to step directly into the scene for photographs and storytelling.
Industrial 7-Axis Robotic Milling & Fine Hand Artistry
Millimetric 3D CAD Modeling: Every character’s anatomical posture, costume flow, and facial nuance were digitally drafted down to the smallest detail using advanced 3D CAD software.
7-Axis Robotic Arm Carving: Digital geometries were accurately milled into physical reality using our industrial 7-axis robotic arm, carving massive high-density polyurethane blocks with zero structural deviation.
- Solid Core Durability (Unlike Hollow Polyester): Because they are carved directly from solid high-density polyurethane blocks, the interiors of our sculptures are completely solid. Unlike conventional fiberglass or polyester figures that are merely thin, hollow shells, this solid-core construction provides exceptional impact resistance. This ensures they are incredibly robust, highly resistant to vandalism or physical damage, and engineered to serve flawlessly for many years in high-traffic public parks.
Master Sculptor Surface Refining: Following the robotic cut, our master sculptors hand-worked the surfaces with fine manual tools. They refined facial expressions, drapery folds, and surface textures to create a flawlessly smooth base for the paint atelier.
Artisan Pigment Application: Our studio painters brought each polyurethane sculpture to life with vibrant, authentic hues, sealing them with UV-resistant coatings engineered to resist fading and weather wear.
Heavy-Duty 20 mm Steel Anchoring: Public durability is integrated into every build. Each character features internal 2 cm (20 mm) thick solid structural steel rods that anchor directly into deep concrete sub-foundations, guaranteeing absolute stability against public interaction and harsh outdoor winds.
